One of the great honors and privileges that the University Chaplain is afforded is the opportunity to witness and to bless some of the most sacred and meaningful moments in the lives of the members of our community.

Weddings

The University Chaplain is available to officiate at weddings and commitment ceremonies. Pre-marital counseling is available to couples who so desire it. The Chaplain is available to officiate for Penn affiliates and non-affiliates alike. 

The Office of the Chaplain usually charges a fee for wedding services and all proceeds go towards student programming and community service initiatives. 

Memorial Services

The University Chaplain is often called upon to assist in planning or to preside over memorial services and funerals after the passing of members of the university community.
