Join us throughout the fall 2026 semester as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States. This series of events will investigate the history and experiences that shape religious interactions in our nation. Speakers from a range of spiritual traditions will present narrative histories of their communities in dialogue with one another and with the concept of religious liberty and freedom.

Location: 118 S 37th St – SPARC (Spiritual and Religious Life Center) at the University of Pennsylvania
How have religious minorities fared in a nation that has long been a nation with a Christian majority? How do Jewish and Muslim experiences in the U.S. intersect, and how do Jews and Muslims see themselves as part of the American story? This panel will include presentations by scholars of Jewish and Muslim history, as well as a discussion with contemporary interfaith leaders.
